 We currently use Royal Mail, Amazon, Yodel and DPD.

*Republic of Ireland – Customs Charges

Orders shipped from the UK to the Republic of Ireland may be subject to customs duties, taxes and/or handling charges imposed by the Irish authorities or the delivery carrier.

From 1 July 2026, certain low-value consignments entering the Republic of Ireland may be subject to a €3 customs duty per applicable product category/tariff line. Where applicable, this charge is payable by the recipient and is not included in Hudson Home’s product or delivery charges.

Any customs duties, import charges or carrier handling fees arising after dispatch are the responsibility of the recipient. Hudson Home has no control over these charges and cannot reimburse them.

Furniture & Mirror Deliveries

For furniture, mirrors, garden furniture, parasols, some lighting and some other non-stock items there will be longer delivery time as these are despatched via a specialist courier direct from our manufacturer - please refer to the product page for approximate lead times. 

VAT

VAT - UK Under UK VAT Law, VAT is due on all sales to private individuals where the goods will be taken to or delivered to an address in the UK.

VAT - NON UK Where you have requested delivery to a Non-UK Country address, the price paid by you for the Products and/or the delivery service will remain the same as shown on the Website.  We are unable to zero-rate our products.

VAT - CHANNEL ISLANDS While the Channel Islands are part of the UK, goods may still be liable for Customs duties and VAT in accordance with Channel Islands import rules.

Damaged/Faulty Goods

If you receive a faulty, or damaged goods please email us a photograph and request either a refund or replacement within 5 days of receipt.
