Pre-Order FAQ's

A pre-order delivery date is an estimated date and may change due to supplier shipping. Here at Hudson home we will always endeavour to keep you updated on your delivery.

Please note you can cancel your order any time before an item has shipped.

What is a pre-ordered item?
A pre-order is an order for an item that is placed in advance of the stock coming in from our supplier.

Will I be charged before or after my Pre-Ordered Item arrives?
You will be charged at the time of purchase just like any other order.  You also have the option to pay with Klarna or Clearpay if you are eligible which allows you to order now and pay later.

Is the estimated stock delivery date guaranteed?
Here at Hudson Home,we will always endeavour to provide accurate delivery information but occasionally these dates may change. We will always keep you updated on any changes either via email or phone.

Can I place a Pre-Order alongside items that are in stock, and will they arrive together?
When ordering through the Hudson Home website you are able to order items that are on pre-order and items that are in stock on the same order. If there is an item which is out of stock but is due to arrive in the Warehouse within 48 hours, your order will be held and despatched together.

If the Next Day or Saturday delivery options are selected, the delivery will take place on this service once the items become available.

If the delay is longer than 48 hours your order will be part despatched. The postage charge will only be taken once, even if your order is part shipped due to an item being back-ordered.

Can I cancel my Pre-Order if there is a delay and it is too long for me to wait?
You can cancel your pre-order at any time prior to dispatch. We will look to process your refund as quickly as possible for you, and you will receive a confirmation email once the refund has been issued.

How will I know that my Pre-Order has been despatched?
You will receive a despatch notification from us, or if it a large piece of furniture our specialist courier company will be in touch to book in a convenient time for delivery.

As my order is on Pre-Order, can I add items to the order?
Unfortunately, we are unable to add items to orders once they have been placed. You will need to place a new order for the additional item that you wish to purchase.

If there is a new discount code available whilst waiting for my Pre-Order, can I apply this to my order?
If you wish to pre order an item using a new discount code, you would need to cancel your existing order and place a new one.

When placing a Pre-Order, will I have priority over other people ordering?
Our pre-order system works on a first come first served basis. This means that once the stock has arrived, orders for this item will be processed by order date.

Is there a chance that Pre-Ordered items will arrive earlier than advised?
On occasion, stock can arrive earlier than expected. However, as this is unlikely, we would always advise that you follow what is shown on our website at the time of ordering.

Is the estimated arrival date shown on the website when it will be restocked, or when it will be delivered to me?
The pre-order date onsite is the date it arrives at Hudson, please allow extra time for delivery to yourself.
