With spring on the horizon, we wanted to let you know what’s been happening behind the scenes at Hudson Home and give you a little look ahead to the new season and beyond, so without further ado…

The Shop

We’re beginning this blog with a little announcement; if you follow us on social you may have seen that we recently announced the closure of our shop in Knowle, Solihull. We first opened three years ago and it's been an amazing time for us, however last March when we expanded the Hudson Home brand online, we were certainly not prepared for such an incredible reception and over the last year, the online side of the brand has exceeded all our expectations. To continue growing this arm of the business and building our brand we've made the decision to focus all our energy online.

It's certainly been a difficult decision and one we've not taken lightly, however as we’re sure many of you are aware, the high street right now is not without its challenges and as much as we love the shop, we know our efforts are better spent growing our online business. We’ll always have fond memories of the shop; it’s been an amazing springboard for us and we wouldn’t be where we are now without it.

We're still very much an independent business and we couldn't do what we love without our incredibly loyal customers, so we hope you’ll share in our excitement and we can’t wait to start working on an even better online shopping experience for you.

Mother’s Day

With Mother’s Day on the 31st of March we’ve been adding lots of gorgeous gift options to the website for you to treat your Mum to – she deserves it after all!

Our signature candle collection is one of our favourite gifts to give and with six beautiful scents to choose from, there’s one to suit all tastes. Each candle has a burn time of 36 hours and is made with 100% Natural Vegetable Wax. If your Mum favors floral scents, Moroccan Rose is a beautiful blend of roses with a musky undertone. For a more uplifting fragrance, opt for Citrus and Basil. Spring Trends

We love this time of year at Hudson Home as we get to visit some of our favourite trade shows and start curating our collections for the rest of the year. We’ve not long returned from Maison et Objet in Paris and Top Drawer in London and we’re so excited for all the new lines we have coming in over the next couple of months.

As always, our style of interior is fresh and embraces a neutral palette and refined look to adorn stylish, timeless homes. From elegant mirrors to furniture, with the move to our new warehouse very soon, this means we have more space to expand on our current product categories and we know this is something you have been asking for so we are so happy to be able to bring more products to you.

Claire says ‘A neutral palette is still very much on trend and this season we’re seeing this look updated by the introduction of lots of contrasting textures to add depth to a room. Simple greenery is also being added in abundance to complement neutral tones of mushroom grey, soft clay and plenty of fresh off whites for the ultimate paired-back at-home elegance.’
