Oleographs are prints designed to resemble oil paintings in style, with close similarities to the artistic techniques of oil paintings. It's a process first introduced by the Victorians around 1900 to replicate oil paintings using printing machines. It has been re-developed and using skilled craftsman and up-to-date technology.  The technique captures the texture, craquelure and character of an original painting.
